Please note, you will not be able to view previous orders if you checked out as a guest. By creating an account, you can also check out faster, save multiple shipping addresses, track new orders, and save items to a registry/wish list.

The benefit is pre-ordering an item is huge! If you pre-order, you'll be ensuring the styles you love and the sizes you need make it to production. We will order and sell "extras" of the styles that go to production, but availability will be limited we cannot guarantee the size you need will be ordered. It's best to order when you see it!

Shipping

Hello! 

 

If your order includes a pre-order item and an in-stock item, in general, we will ship the in-stock items out right away within our normal shipping times! Your pre-order will whip within your listed shipping window. 

Hi, friend! 

If you have purchased an in-stock item, your order will leave us in up to 3 business days. If you have purchased an in-stock monogrammed item, please see item description for current monogram times. For pre-order shipping windows, please reference the "availability" section on the product page. 

We ship via USPS. Once it leaves us, you can expect first-class packages to add an additional 3-5 business days for shipping, priority mail adds 2-3 for shipping, and priority express to add 1-2 business days to ship. 

You will automatically receive an email with a tracking confirmation when your package is scanned at the post office! 

The postal service observes national holidays and can experience longer-than-usual delays in extremely busy holiday seasons.

Cecil and Lou's business hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.

Due to the custom nature of Cecil and Lou's clothing and production, we do not accept exchanges/ returns. All sales are final. Please be sure and double-check our size guide before you purchase. We are happy to help with any questions! 

 

What happens if my order arrives incomplete, incorrect, damaged, or defective? 

Oh no! We certainly do everything we can for this not to happen, but mistakes can be made. Please contact us within 10 days of receiving your order so we can take care of you! 

 

Additional Final Sale Circumstances

Personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged. 

Gift certificates cannot be returned for exchange, credit, or refunds. 

Sale or clearance items cannot be returned for exchange, credit, or refunds.

We LOVE to offer super sweet deals to our customers every once and a while in the form of flash sales! There are certain changes that we cannot make that are specific to flash sales here are the details: 

 

- Flash sale items are pre-order items that will ship in 10-12 weeks. Due to extremely high order volume, we cannot guarantee a shipping date. Please order the right size for your child during the estimated shipping window! 

-  Sale price cannot be applied to previous purchases, future purchases or combined with any other discounts. 

- Due to high order volumes, we cannot exchange sizes or styles after the purchase has been made. 

- Please double-check size, initials, and shipping address before placing order. No changes can be made after checkout.

- All sales are final.

Pre-Order FAQs

We have multiple different pre-orders with differing ship dates! If you would like to check on the shipping status of your pre-order items, you can do that easily! Here's how: 

 

1. Log in to your Cecil and Lou account by clicking "Account" in the top right corner of the website. Please note, if you checked out as a guest, you will not be able to access this information.

2. Once you log in, to your account, you will see a summary of your orders. Select the order you want to check on!

Hello! 

 

We are happy to help you change the size of your pre-ordered item if your desired size is still available! If the pre-order has closed, we could be sold out of your desired size. Please submit a ticket containing your order information and the size you would like to alter. Please note, you will not be able to see this size change in your Cecil and Lou account. This change is a manual change and will not reflect in your account.

Have you moved since you placed your order? We would first like to suggest that you set up mail forwarding at your local post office. 

 

If you would still like to change your address with us, please submit a ticket with your new address and order information - we will make the manual change on our side of things! Please note, you will not be able to view the corrected address in your Cecil and Lou account.
